As a strategist, writer and creative director John has developed communications for a variety of consumer and b2b clients over the past 15 years, including some of the most successful brands in the world. John's experience includes the development in all mediums: print, interactive, 3D, exhibits, film and video.
Prior to forming Incite, John was Sr. VP/Creative Director with The MWW Group, one of the top 10 PR firm in the U.S. In 1989, John co-founded WERKHAUS, which operated for 13 years as one of Seattle's leading brand design firms. Client engagements included Henry Weinhard's Brewery, Adobe Systems, Discover Card, MSN, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Nintendo of America, K2 Skates, Starbucks Coffee, Wells Fargo Bank, the Jane Goodall Institute and WorldCampaign.
John's most recent work has involved brand-building initiatives for Microsoft Windows™, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Nike Women's, Microsoft, Peter Pepper Products and WATG Architecture.
John has been a featured speaker at METROPOLIS Conference ‘Finding the Thread of Sustainability' and in several local brand strategy seminars. In 2000, he authored the chapter ‘Design for Marketing' in the book Cracking the New Economy: Business Tools for the Entrepreneur (WSA). John is a Certified Trainer of Emotional Intelligence.
